I live in Idaho and during the first week of October, schools were closed because of a heavy snowstorm. This has been the earliest snow day in the history of the Blaine County School District.

So tell me, when will the media stop threatening us with the idea of man-made global warming?

Such weather is really not unusual for Idaho at this time of year. Sure, Idaho was hit with a lot of snow, but that does not disprove the idea of global warming. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change has found that temperature increases during the middle of the 20th century was caused by increased greenhouse gases from HUMAN ACTIVITY. Like fossil fuel burning, deforestation, etc.

Sorry Utopia, but one little snowstorm in your area does not mean we aren't destroying our planet.

I don't know. I think I'm kind of agreeing with Utopia on this one. Great Britain is facing one of the coldest winters in 100 years, according to experts. Forecasters have even warned that temperatures will hit 16 degrees below zero until mid-january. And some say the second part of Jan. will be even colder...

I just don't see the theory of global warming in these temperatures.
